Hi, I'm Alexis

I've always been drawn to beautiful homes.
Not because they were perfect, but because of how they made people feel.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to experience many different homes, cultures and ways of living. And one thing
became clear to me:
A home doesn't need to be bigger, newer or more expensive to feel good.
It needs to work for the people who live in it.
Living across different countries and cultures taught me that there isn't one right way to create a home.
Through self-study, the work of professional organizers and a growing interest in how our environments shape our daily lives,
I became fascinated by the connection between our homes,
our habits and our wellbeing.
Today, I help people create homes that feel calmer,
easier to live in
and more enjoyable to come back to.
Why Sir Tidy?
Home organization has traditionally been seen
as something mainly for women.
Sir Tidy was created
to offer a different perspective:
calm, practical and respectful.
As a man, and as someone whose own life has taught him the importance of feeling accepted for who you are. I don’t believe there is one right way to live, or that organization belongs to one gender.
I believe every home deserves
systems that work
for the people who live there.

Where it all began
Growing up, my mother
always encouraged me
to tidy my room.
Sometimes with patience.
Sometimes with the familiar "Go tidy your room!"
that many of us grew up hearing.
She taught me the best way she could.
It gave me a habit.
Years later,
I realized there was another way.
A way that could be taught.
Organization isn't a talent.
It's a skill.
Every skill can be taught.
When someone shows us how.
My mother taught me the value of order.
Life taught me the method.
Sir Tidy is my way of sharing both.
A Personal Note
For me, home has always meant more than the place where we keep our things.
I’m 47, and I belong to a generation of gay men who grew up in a very different world from the one many younger people experience today.
Like many others, I learned what it felt like to be judged simply for being who I was.
But I also learned resilience.
I learned the value of creating a life — and a home — where you can feel comfortable, accepted and proud of who you are.
That experience is part of the person behind Sir Tidy.
It’s one of the reasons I will never come into your home to judge how you live, what you own, or how things became difficult. I’m there to listen, understand and help.
Your home doesn’t need to impress anyone.
It needs to work for you.
And above all, it should feel like yours.
